LINE OF CAMPAIGN - This visual reportage on the American election campaign is by the young cartoonist Gerald Scarfe, who was sent by The Sunday Times magazine to follow the Johnson and Goldwater caravans. He travelled via Washington, Chicago, Cleveland, Louisville, Nashville and Atlantic City, drawing as he went.
