Search TipsHelp with Search facility The Search facility on our website (shown at the top of the right-hand column) enables you to find the magazine you require. At the moment, all Search results may not appear in an alphabetic order. We hope to improve on this in the future. Remember you can also browse manually through each individual category in our shop if you prefer not to use the Search facility. All items within our shop for sale are shown (from left to right across the page) either by alphabetical order or by date order. You can do a basic search by just typing your search string into the search box. However, this may sometimes brings up irrelevant results. You may find that the best way to search is with " " (quotation marks) typed around the words you are searching for. See below for further help with finding particular items. To find a magazine from a specific date or year: If you know the exact date of the item you are looking for, type in the Search box (ideally with " " around the words), for example: "1 December 2008" or "December 2008" Note: Remember that some searches may not be found even though the item may be available for sale. An example would be: "Woman's Weekly 1996" (with " "). This will not bring up any matches, simply because that phrase is not an exact match in our shop. In this instance, searching Woman's Weekly 1996 (without " ") will enable better results. If no results are found, then we do not currently have the issue for sale in our store. However, you can still contact us and we will be able to check if we currently have the issue in stock. To find a specific feature within a magazine: If you are looking for a specific feature within a collectable magazine, type in the Search box (ideally with " " around the words), for example: "Beatrix Potter knitting pattern" If no results are found, you may find further results by simply typing "Beatrix Potter" If no results are found, then we do not currently have the issue for sale in our store. However, you can still contact us and we will be able to check if we currently have the issue in stock. To find a specific person featured within a magazine: If you looking for a specific person featured within a magazine, type in the Search box (ideally with " " around the words), for example: "Elvis Presley" This will then bring up a list of all the items that feature Elvis Presley. Remember that if you simply search "Elvis", this will bring up other matches such as "Elvis Costello". If no results are found, then we do not currently have the issue for sale in our store. To find a specific person featured on the cover of a magazine: If you are looking for a magazine cover that features a particular person, type in the Search box (ideally with " " around the words), for example: "Jimi Hendrix cover" This will list all the magazines currently available featuring the relevant person on the cover.
